Description

The Marlin House is a charming, pet-friendly, canal-front home just a short walk from the sand and sea! This inviting 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home combines coastal style with comfort, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway. Enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, or sunbathing right from your private dock.

Natural light fills the home, highlighting coastal decor throughout. The fully equipped kitchen features updated appliances, ideal for preparing family meals. Gather in the living room for cozy movie nights or fun-filled game evenings. Step outside to relax on the deck with beautiful water views while sipping your favorite beverage.

Each bedroom is tastefully decorated for comfort, and both bathrooms offer shower/tub combinations. A shared hall bathroom is located on the main level, with a second bathroom on the ground level accessible from outside. The enclosed outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off after a day on the beach or dock, keeping the sand outside.

Spend afternoons fishing from the dock, taking in the vibrant sunsets, or walking along the shore with your furry friend. The nearby beach access provides easy entry to the warm Atlantic waters.

Beds are made upon arrival (top bunk not included), and bed linens and towels are provided for weekly rentals.

Pet Friendly: 1 dog up to 25 pounds. Guests must crate pets if left unattended.
Non-Smoking Property: No smoking on premises.
Boat Access: The private dock accommodates boats up to 25 ft; boat lift and ramp are not available for guest use. A public boat ramp is located nearby.

Loved the porch and outdoor furniture! We ate on the deck and spent lots of time there. House was cute and perfect sized for us. We would love to stay here again!

This house is amazing. When we got there we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a few special personalized gifts. Bikes were out and ready for us. I can't say enough about how clean and homey this house was. The location is awesome and the beach wagon was really helpful and made the walk to the beach so easy. Check in was a breeze. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for making our vacation so relaxing.

We're looking forward to our next trip already!

We had a wonderful stay at the Marlin House. All the linens/towels were provided fresh. The home was incredibly clean, and were presently surprised at how cute and well decorated the home is. The kitchen has a Keurig, and had all the kitchenware we needed to make lunch/ dinner right there without having to bring everything. For rainy days the kids could stream TV/movies in their room from our accounts. Geographically, it's perfectly situated on the West side of the island away from car noise/ traffic but still on the same street as the beach access, as we noticed there were not a-lot of public accesses on the island. They provided 2 beach chairs and a beach cart in the downstairs room as well, so we did not bring them. The rear deck/dock is literally on the canal, and from the front deck you can also see some of the bigger boats sail by through the ICW in the distance, while you have drinks or snacks. It all felt very safe as well and I suppose was the very definition of a perfect little Holden Beach Island getaway. We're looking forward to our next trip already!

We came to The Marlin House for a quick Fall Break trip and it was just what my college age kids and I needed to reconnect. The house is right on the water and you can fish from the dock. You are a short walk from the access to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed for the simple meals. We could wash off from the beach right outside. The neighbors are super nice and it was a great time of year to go because it was not crowded, but everything was open for business. The cottage had everything we needed and it was super clean. We took a day trip to USS Carolina and the Aquarium. We will definitely come back.

Highly recommended! Check-in was seamless, and there was a nice little gift waiting for our arrival. The house was super clean, comfortable and furnished/designed well. The beach was a very short walk. We loaded the two included beach chairs into the included beach cart. The public beach accesses at Holden Beach are very spread apart, so we felt very lucky that The Marlin House has a beach access right at the tip of the street. Less steps to the beach and more convenience! The decks are large and have comfortable outdoor seating area to have dinner or a drink overlooking the water and palm trees. We cruised around the island on the two included bicycles at dusk and enjoyed sight seeing and the ocean breeze. The surrounding homes are well kept and the island feels VERY safe, a true hidden gem and I suppose the perfect little island home get-away. We will definitely be back!

I adored this stay! Everything was in great condition and the house is right on the canal. I literally spent hours on the dock fishing. The house was convenient to multiple restaurants and just a short walk down the street to a public beach access. Not to mention the amazing view from the back deck of the sailboat docked across from this location. I had an amazing time and I hope to rent from this location again in the near future!
