Raising the Bar is a beautifully updated oceanfront home in the exclusive gated West End community, offering a perfect blend of coastal elegance and family-friendly comfort. The main level includes four well-appointed bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. The upper level offers a private retreat for kids, featuring a fifth bedroom with bunk beds, a full bath, and its own cozy sitting area. All bedrooms and the main living area are equipped with flat-screen TVs and Blu-Ray players.

Step outside to enjoy serene marsh views from spacious covered porches and furnished decks with rockers, perfect for taking in sunrises and sunsets. The private oceanfront pool is ideal for relaxation and family fun, and a ground-level picnic area provides additional space for outdoor dining and leisure.

Great place for my family! Very accommodating. We had 12 in our group and had plenty of room to spread out but also be together. The number of bathrooms was perfect! Loved the ice maker! Gas grill was great!

It’s a beautiful, well stocked house with a great pool and beach access. Love the bunk area. Less furniture in the bedrooms would be helpful with pack and plays.

This rental house is by far the best one we’ve stayed at on the island. The kitchen was well stocked for a large party, and the outdoor areas allowed for extra space to spread out. The countertop ice machine was a much appreciated bonus as well. We will most certainly be renting it again in the future.

House was lovely and well appointed. The mattress on every bed was excellent. This has not been our experience in other rentals. A bad night and an aching neck or back make one not anxious to rent the property a second time. The rental company is the most professional one we have ever used! We called, they answered, they came. Our tent was set up promptly and having Coastal Vacations take care of this for us was wonderful. This was our first trip to Holden Beach. Our entire family loves our “ new” beach. Thank you Coastal for making our trip a rounding success.

This is our third year at Raising The Bar. It is the one time our whole family is together. This is a special place. We wish the table for eating was longer. This year we brought a folding table so we could all enjoy the dinner conversation. Now that the grandkids are ages 8-20 it is fun to hear their take on the world. Thank you for this special house.

This is the second year our family has stayed at Raising the Bar. This beautiful home overlooking the ocean is the perfect place for a family gathering. The kitchen is so well equipped, the swimming pool is enjoyed in the evening after a day on the beach. Coastal Vacation resorts made it all so easy . We gather our family from the states of Washington , New Hampshire and North Carolina . Perfect time together.

Our family loved Raising the Bar! It's a beautiful home and has a well equipped kitchen with two dishwashers and an undercounter ice maker. We also loved the upstairs loft for our children! We were so impressed with the house that we rented it again for next summer!

This house has beautiful updates and plenty of beds for the 8 adults and 7 grandchildren staying this week. The pool is a great addition to this oceanfront property. We were worried that the walk to the beach would be too long for the young kids, but it was not an issue at all. Love the beach being less busy with more room to run and play. We have already decided we will stay here again next year!

Perfect house for family vacation. Kitchen is well equipped. Loved the pool where my grandchildren could take a swim after dinner. Sleeping arrangement was wonderful for my 6 grandchildren. They loved being all together.

This property suited our needs perfectly. Each couple had their own bedroom and the loft was perfect for the four kids and all of their toys. It was a short walk to the beach when we wanted to have a beach day. The pool was great for the kids too. The ice maker and two dishwashers were an added benefit since we didn't go out to eat. Nine adults and five kids make plenty of dirty dishes. We all agreed if we plan another beach vacation we would rent this property again.
