Windchimes is a lovely ocean front home with outstanding views of the beach and waves. Our family really enjoyed relaxing and dining on the ocean side decks and screened in porch. The four bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with each bedroom having a private bath. We enjoyed evenings gathered around the spectacular fireplace in the living room with its comfortable seating for our entire family. The owner sets the standard for excellence and stayed in contact with us via text to make certain we found the house clean and that we had everything we needed for a great vacation. Our family has plans to stay there again and we highly recommend Windchimes.

Great property with amazing views. The kitchen is well stocked and has great windows to look out at the ocean. The expanse of windows on the back of the house ensure that you have a fabulous view of the ocean at all times. The porches and seating allow you to sit in the sun or the shade to enjoy the ocean view. We loved this house and already scheduled for summer 2021!

This home is just lovely. It was the best stocked kitchen I've had in a rental. It's the perfect size. Just the two of us felt like it was small enough and yet it could easily accommodate many more people. The screened in porch and large deck made this house even more special. We spent most of our time on the deck. It was as nice as sitting on the beach without getting sandy! Can't wait to come back next year. The Outer Banks called when we got home to say they missed us and that they had fixed some of the things we didn't like about the house we stay in there. Sorry OBX, our heart belongs to Holden Beach now.

We loved this house- the owners had thought of everything- we have been vacationing at Holden Beach for over 8 years- stayed in several properties offered by other rental companies- none compare to this property- Very, very clean-there were many extra things the owner had furnished that went above and beyond- For example we have a 2 1/2 year old grandson and we forgot to bring a baby gate- the owner had several throughout the house- There were two first-aid kits in the pantry- bath mats were provided-House was AMAZING-close to the pier and General Store-There was not a speck of dust anywhere-everything was sparkling clean-You knew the owners loved the house and we are so blessed they want to share it!!!We already booked for next year!!S Putnam

We had a great time at Windchimes. The house is very nice inside, you can tell the owners want you to enjoy their home. The outside deck and screen porch are wonderful. The view is fabulous. Even though we had two days of rain having the deck and porch still made it ok. The owner checked with us when we got there plus sent us a letter. We have been going to Holden for over 25 years and I have never had a owner do that, I thought that was very very nice. Great house, great week with family and friends.Linda Marsh

We had a great week at Windchimes. The location of the property is exceptional, can't get any closer to the beach but also a short drive to the get off the island. Having four bedrooms and four bathrooms was ideal. The outdoor space with a screened porch, covered area, and sun area was also excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with more than adequate dining materials also. Would like to have had some directions on how to use the advanced remote control for the main TV but that is a very small concern when everything else was so good. The owner of the property sent a personal letter prior to our arrival which made me feel right at home from the beginning. I will definitely look to book this property again.
