Summer is here and Coastal Vacation Resorts is extremely blessed to be serving our valued vacationing guests for yet another prime-time season. We are continuing to do all we possibly can to offer private retreats for families that are safe, clean and spacious. We hope these frequently asked questions along with their answers will help guide you through an upcoming peaceful stay with us at Coastal Vacation Resorts:
What will the check-in process be like?
Our front desk inside our main office building is currently open and our guest services team members are standing by to assist you through the check-in process. All vacationing guests are encouraged to call (910)842-8000 or email [email protected] ahead of their scheduled check-in with any concerns or questions.
When you are approaching the island, please follow these new guidelines for guest check-in:
1. Locate a parking space either at our office or across the street in the Holden Beach Chapel parking area.
2. Send ONE family member to our Sunroom that is located on the side of the building and identified by signage for Coastal Vacation Resorts.
3. Enter the Sunroom from the ocean side, one guest at a time.
4. You'll check-in at the reception desk inside of the building, once the guest before you has exited the buidling.
5. Pick up your welcome package with keys inside to your home from a guest services representative.
5. Exit the Sunroom from the street side.
All welcome packages are prepared with great care by cleaning your keys, the desktops, and our after-hours check in box ahead of time.
How have you enhanced your cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting practices?
Absolutely! Coastal Vacation Resorts is committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and safe vacation home to our valued guests. Prior to new guests checking in all rental accommodations are thoroughly and professionally cleaned according to our high standards for cleaning followed by an in-depth inspection. We are paying special attention and improving our techniques for cleaning and disinfecting commonly used surfaces like door knobs, light switches, television remotes, handles, countertops, interior handrails and other high touch areas.
To give our guests peace of mind during their stay we encourage them to take even greater measures if they wish, by adding the following suggested items to their packing list: personal blankets & pillows.
Are local stores and restaurants open?
Yes, all NC restaurants are open to dine-in customers at full capacity. Also, the wonderful restaurants in the Holden Beach area are continuing to serve delicious take-out meals for the entire family, with some offering nightly specials and home delivery options. Support our local businesses by ordering take-out during your stay!
Our island is very limited in grocery store options and we encourage our guests to add some food items to their packing list. We want you to be comfortable during your stay and in today’s new normal we realize food items may be limited, so when you are trip planning think of meals for the entire family and prepare to bring some ingredients with you. Also, paper products & hand sanitizers are in limited supply so bring toilet tissue, paper towels, etc.
Grocery stores, local shops with beach gear are all open and to better assist you we have partnered with Boomers, our local supplier for umbrellas, chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, and more. To make your trip more enjoyable call them at 910-842-1400 and reserve your equipment for delivery the day you check in.
